We are almost senior citizens who knew nothing about digital cameras and went to our local branch of John Lewis where we were advised by the “nice young man” that a Nikon Coolpix 4300 would suit us nicely. We paid the £200 and took it home where it performed fantastically for three years as a point-and-shoot.
